Privacy Policy

Kauriink Private Limited, operating under the brand TECH AT PLAY ("TECH AT PLAY", "TAP", "we", "us" or "our"), respects the privacy of its customers and users and is committed to protecting information processed through its websites, applications and technology platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how TECH AT PLAY collects, accesses, uses, stores, shares and deletes information in connection with its services, including its autonomous live broadcasting and sports video analytics platform, HALO, and its integrations with Google and YouTube API Services.

This Privacy Policy applies to TECH AT PLAY's websites, software applications, platform services and related customer services.

1. About TECH AT PLAY

TECH AT PLAY provides technology and infrastructure for autonomous live sports production, broadcasting and video analytics.

Our customers include sports venues, academies, clubs, associations, federations and other organizations using our technology to produce, manage, distribute and analyse sports content.

As part of the broadcasting service, customers may choose to distribute a match either:

through a YouTube channel operated by TECH AT PLAY; or
through their own YouTube channel after authorizing TECH AT PLAY through Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization process.

TECH AT PLAY provides the technology and production infrastructure used to create and distribute these broadcasts. TECH AT PLAY does not claim ownership of customer content merely because that content is processed, uploaded or streamed using our technology. Rights in the underlying content remain with the applicable customer or content rights holder.

2. Information We Collect and Process

Depending on how a customer or authorized user interacts with TECH AT PLAY, we may collect or process the following categories of information.

2.1 Customer and Account Information

We may process information necessary to establish, administer and support a customer relationship, including:

organization or business name;
authorized user or contact name;
business email address;
telephone number;
account and customer identifiers;
venue and service information;
account configuration information; and
customer support and service communications.

2.2 Service and Technical Information

When our platform or services are used, we may process technical and operational information such as:

IP addresses;
browser and device information;
system and application logs;
timestamps;
authentication events;
service usage information;
broadcast and stream identifiers;
stream and connection status;
diagnostic information; and
security and system-performance information.

2.3 Sports Content and Analytics

Our services may process video, audio, match information and sports-performance information in order to provide autonomous broadcasting and sports analytics.

TECH AT PLAY does not require the collection of player names, profile photographs, dates of birth, email addresses or mobile numbers as part of its automated sports analytics processing.

Recorded video retained by TECH AT PLAY as part of the service is ordinarily deleted after approximately three months, unless a different retention period is required by a customer agreement, legal obligation or specific service requirement.

Sports analytics information generated independently by TECH AT PLAY's technology may be retained as part of the customer's analytics service and historical performance records, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

3. Google and YouTube API Services

TECH AT PLAY uses YouTube API Services, including the YouTube Data API and YouTube Live Streaming API functionality, as part of HALO's broadcasting services.

Customers who choose to broadcast through their own YouTube channel authorize TECH AT PLAY through Google OAuth 2.0.

3.1 Google OAuth Authorization

When a customer chooses to connect its YouTube channel to HALO, the customer is redirected to Google's OAuth authorization process. The customer may review and authorize the permissions requested by TECH AT PLAY.

The applicable OAuth scope used for the YouTube integration is:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl

This authorization allows TECH AT PLAY to perform the YouTube operations necessary to provide the customer's authorized broadcasting functionality.

3.2 How Google and YouTube Data Is Used

TECH AT PLAY may access and process YouTube-related information only as necessary to provide the customer-authorized functionality, including:

connecting a customer's YouTube channel;
creating and managing live broadcasts;
managing live streams;
retrieving broadcast or stream status; and
maintaining the customer's authorized YouTube integration.

YouTube API information is used only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure or improve these customer-facing broadcasting functions.

TECH AT PLAY does not sell or resell:

Google user data;
YouTube API data;
OAuth credentials;
access to YouTube API Services; or
customer authorization credentials.

TECH AT PLAY does not use Google or YouTube user data for targeted advertising, interest-based advertising, credit assessment or sale to data brokers or information resellers.

TECH AT PLAY does not use Google or YouTube API user data to train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

3.3 OAuth Token Security, Storage and Retention

OAuth credentials are retained only while required to maintain the customer's authorized YouTube integration.

The normal authorization flow is:

Customer authorizes TECH AT PLAY → Google provides authorized credentials → TECH AT PLAY securely stores the applicable refresh token in encrypted form → TECH AT PLAY uses the refresh token when required to obtain a new short-lived access token → authorized YouTube API operations continue without requiring the customer to repeatedly sign in.

OAuth access and refresh tokens are:

stored using encryption at rest;
accessible only to authorized systems and personnel where required;
transmitted using secure encrypted network connections;
used solely for the Google/YouTube functionality authorized by the customer; and
not disclosed or sold to third parties for independent use.

OAuth refresh tokens may remain stored while the customer maintains an active YouTube connection and while the token is required to provide the service.

If the customer disconnects its YouTube account, revokes TECH AT PLAY's authorization, terminates the relevant integration, or the authorization otherwise becomes invalid, TECH AT PLAY will cease using the affected token and remove it when it is no longer required, subject to applicable technical, legal and security requirements.

Applicable YouTube resource metadata stored by TECH AT PLAY is refreshed or deleted in accordance with applicable YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

TECH AT PLAY distinguishes between information obtained from YouTube APIs and information independently generated by TECH AT PLAY's broadcasting and sports-analytics systems.

3.4 Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms

By authorizing TECH AT PLAY to interact with a YouTube account, users acknowledge that their use of Google and YouTube services is also governed by Google's and YouTube's own terms and privacy practices.

3.5 Revoking TECH AT PLAY's Google/YouTube Access

A customer that has authorized TECH AT PLAY to access its YouTube channel may revoke that authorization at any time through the customer's Google Account permissions.

The customer may also ask TECH AT PLAY to disconnect its YouTube integration by contacting:

Following revocation or disconnection, TECH AT PLAY will cease using the affected authorization to make new YouTube API requests on behalf of that customer.

Revoking or disconnecting access may prevent TECH AT PLAY from creating, modifying or managing future YouTube broadcasts on that customer's channel until the customer authorizes the service again.

3.6 Deleting Google/YouTube-Related Data

Customers may request deletion of Google- or YouTube-related information stored by TECH AT PLAY by contacting:

Requests should contain sufficient information for TECH AT PLAY to identify the relevant customer account and YouTube integration.

For security purposes, TECH AT PLAY may verify the identity or authority of the person making the request before processing the deletion request.

Where applicable, TECH AT PLAY will delete information that is no longer required to provide the service, subject to:

applicable legal requirements;
security requirements;
contractual obligations;
fraud or abuse-prevention requirements; and
applicable Google and YouTube API policies.

Revoking Google authorization and requesting deletion of information held by TECH AT PLAY are separate actions. A customer wishing to do both should revoke the application's Google authorization and submit a deletion request to TECH AT PLAY.

4. How We Use Information

TECH AT PLAY may use information processed through its services to:

provide and operate TECH AT PLAY products and services;
authenticate users and administer customer accounts;
configure customer venues and services;
provide autonomous sports broadcasting;
create and manage customer live broadcasts;
provide sports video analytics;
provide technical support;
maintain, troubleshoot and improve service reliability;
monitor system and network performance;
detect security incidents, misuse or unauthorized access;
communicate with customers about their services;
fulfil customer contracts;
maintain legally required business records;
comply with applicable law; and
protect TECH AT PLAY, its customers, users and systems.

Google and YouTube user data is used only for the purposes described in the Google and YouTube API Services section of this Privacy Policy.

5. How We Share Information

TECH AT PLAY does not sell personal information or Google/YouTube user data.

Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described below.

5.1 Technology and Infrastructure Providers

TECH AT PLAY uses cloud and technology infrastructure providers to operate its platform and services.

Production data and services are primarily hosted using cloud infrastructure located in India.

Service providers may process information on TECH AT PLAY's behalf only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant infrastructure or technical service.

5.2 Google and YouTube

Information may be transmitted to and received from Google and YouTube when a customer uses YouTube-related functions, including OAuth authorization, creation and management of live broadcasts and streams, and retrieval of broadcast or stream status.

5.3 Customer-Authorized Disclosures

Where a customer specifically instructs TECH AT PLAY to provide data or content to another platform, organization or authorized recipient, TECH AT PLAY may process or disclose information in accordance with that instruction.

5.4 Legal and Security Requirements

TECH AT PLAY may disclose information where reasonably required to:

comply with applicable law, regulation or legal process;
respond to a valid government or regulatory request;
investigate security incidents or abuse;
enforce applicable contractual rights; or
protect the rights, property or safety of TECH AT PLAY, its customers, users or others.

5.5 Corporate Transactions

If Kauriink Private Limited is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing or sale of all or part of its business or assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable legal requirements and privacy obligations.

6. Data Retention

TECH AT PLAY retains information only for as long as reasonably required to provide its services, maintain business and security records, fulfil customer agreements and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Different categories of information may have different retention periods.

In particular:

OAuth access and refresh credentials may be retained while the customer's Google/YouTube authorization remains active and while required to provide the connected service. OAuth credentials are stored encrypted at rest;
YouTube API resource metadata is refreshed or deleted in accordance with applicable YouTube API Services requirements;
recorded sports video maintained by TECH AT PLAY is ordinarily deleted after approximately three months, unless another period is required under the applicable customer arrangement or legal requirements;
TECH AT PLAY-generated sports analytics information may form part of a customer's historical analytics records and may be retained for the duration necessary to provide that service;
system, security and application logs are retained for operational, diagnostic and security purposes for a reasonable period; and
customer and contractual records may be retained for as long as necessary for the customer relationship and applicable business, tax, accounting or legal obligations.

When information is no longer required, TECH AT PLAY takes reasonable steps to delete, anonymize or otherwise securely dispose of it.

7. Data Deletion Requests

Customers and authorized users may request deletion of personal information or applicable account data held by TECH AT PLAY by contacting:

The request should identify the relevant organization or account and describe the information the user wishes to have deleted.

TECH AT PLAY may verify the requester's identity and authority before processing a deletion request.

Deletion requests will be handled subject to applicable legal, contractual, security and platform-policy requirements.

8. Data Security

TECH AT PLAY uses administrative, organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, disclosure, alteration or misuse.

These measures include, where applicable:

access controls;
authentication controls;
restricted administrative access;
network and infrastructure security;
system monitoring;
logging and auditing;
secure communications;
encrypted transmission using modern secure network protocols; and
encryption at rest for stored Google OAuth access and refresh credentials.

OAuth credentials are only decrypted within authorized backend systems when required to obtain or use an access token for customer-authorized YouTube functionality.

Access to customer Google/YouTube authorization credentials is restricted to systems and personnel for whom such access is necessary to provide or support the authorized functionality.

TECH AT PLAY does not expose OAuth refresh tokens to end users or use those credentials for purposes unrelated to the customer's authorized YouTube integration.

No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and TECH AT PLAY therefore cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

9. Children and Junior Athletes

TECH AT PLAY's technology may be used by sports academies, schools, clubs, associations or federations in connection with sporting events involving junior athletes.

Children do not directly create TECH AT PLAY accounts for these services. Where accounts, access or services are provided in connection with junior athletes, they are created or administered by the applicable school, academy, club, association, federation or other responsible organization.

The relevant customer organization is responsible for obtaining any permissions or consents required under applicable law for the capture, processing, analysis or distribution of sports content involving its participants.

TECH AT PLAY does not knowingly enable children to independently authorize Google or YouTube account access through HALO.

10. User Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law and the circumstances in which TECH AT PLAY processes information, users may request to:

obtain information about personal information TECH AT PLAY processes about them;
correct inaccurate information;
request deletion of applicable information;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
revoke Google/YouTube authorization;
raise a privacy concern or complaint; or
exercise other rights available under applicable data-protection law.

11. Third-Party Services

TECH AT PLAY services may interact with third-party services, including Google and YouTube.

Those third-party services operate under their own terms, privacy policies and data-processing practices. Customers should review the applicable third-party terms and privacy policies before using those services.

TECH AT PLAY is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party platforms except to the extent required by applicable law or contractual obligations.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

TECH AT PLAY may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

its products and services;
technical architecture;
Google or YouTube integrations;
data-processing practices;
legal or regulatory requirements; or
applicable platform policies.

When this Privacy Policy is updated, the Last Updated date at the top of the page will be revised.

Where required, additional notice or consent will be obtained before material changes affecting the use of user data take effect.
